Meet the Team KourtneyOffice ManagerKourtney joined the practice in 2013 after graduating from Chemeketa Community College as a CDA, EFDA. She worked alongside Dr. Kristen Smith and former Dr. Kinley Adams early in her career as an assistant and now manages our front office. Although she is no longer chair-side, Kourtney plays a vital role in the daily operations of the practice and its efficiency with both staff and patients so that our doctors can focus on exceptional dental care. She also oversees all billing, insurance, scheduling, and patient relations. Although these responsibilities are important, patient advocacy is her passion. She will work with you to help navigate oral healthcare decisions and financial concerns, ensuring you receive the best possible care and a seamless experience with our team. While not at the office, she enjoys vegetable gardening, spending time with her family on their boat, and working on their cattle farm. 
StephanieDental AssistantStephanie is one of the cheerful voices you might be greeted with over the phone as well as an amazing dental assistant that may be taking care of your dental needs. She graduated from the outstanding Chemeketa Dental Assisting program. In her spare time she likes to be in the outdoors hiking or taking her dog on a run. 
DeniseDental AssistantDenise is a dedicated and skilled dental assistant, working in the field since 1998. She is committed to helping patients feel comfortable and informed and plays a vital role in our dental team. She understands that visiting the dentist can be daunting for many and strives to create a welcoming and calming environment. Outside of the office, Denise enjoys various crafting projects, exercising, and traveling with her husband and three children. She is excited to continue her career in dental assisting and looks forward to contributing to the ongoing success of our practice while ensuring that each patient receives the highest level of care. 
CassieDental AssistantCassie joined the practice as a dental assistant in 2010. She genuinely enjoys connecting with patients while providing compassionate, comprehensive care. Outside the office, Cassie is an adjunct instructor in the Dental Assisting program at Chemeketa Community College. She’s also a Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, with a nutrition practice dedicated to supporting individuals with complex digestive and inflammatory conditions. 
CheyanneDental AssistantCheyanne has been a (EFDA) dental assistant since 2022 and has been a part of Kristen Smith Family Dental Group since her time as a student in dental assisting school. She truly loves what she does-helping patients feel comfortable and cared for is one of the most rewarding parts of her day. Born and raised right here in Oregon, Cheyanne has a deep appreciation for our local community and the beauty of the outdoors. When Cheyanne is not in the office, you can usually find her out on the trails, and or enjoying time with her family and friends. Whether it's hiking, catching a Mariners baseball game with her husband, running a half-marathon, or just staying active, she loves making the most of every moment. 
ShaunaDental HygienistShauna joined the practice in 2019. She went to hygiene school in Idaho and has been in dentistry for 8 years, with previous experience treating aggressive periodontal disease. She has a passion for connecting with people, improving overall health through oral wellness, and compassionate dental care. Outside of work, she loves music of all kinds and loves to be outside hiking or working in her garden. 
JodieDental HygienistJodie graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology in 2009 and has been passionate about providing quality, compassionate dental care ever since. She brings a gentle touch and a friendly smile to every appointment, making patients feel comfortable and cared for. Outside of the office, Jodie is happily married and a proud mom of three. She loves spending quality time with her family and enjoys being outdoors—whether it’s hiking, camping, or just soaking up nature. Jodie looks forward to helping you achieve a healthy, confident smile! 
JulieDental HygienistJulie grew up in Oregon and has worked in the dental field for over 14 years. She began her career as a dental assistant and graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology in 2023 as a Dental Hygienist. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her husband and their three kids. She is also actively involved in her local church. 
MollyDental AssistantMolly graduated from the Chemeketa Dental Assisting Program in 2024. During her time in school, she completed her practicum at this office and was honored to be offered a position here after graduation. She loves building connections with our patients and helping them feel comfortable and cared for. Outside of work, she enjoys doing Pilates, reading good books, and traveling to new places. 
SavannaTreatment CoordinatorSavanna brings over 12 years of dental experience to our team, with a strong background in both chairside assisting and front office coordination. In recent years, she has focused on patient scheduling, insurance processing, and referrals; creating a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient. Outside of the office, Savanna enjoys spending time with her husband of 18 years and their three children. She also loves traveling and is actively involved in her local church, where she works in the children’s ministry. 
KelseyRegistered Dental HygienistKelsey is a dedicated dental hygienist and Salem native. She is a graduate of both Mt. Hood Community College and the Oregon Institute of Technology, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. Kelsey is passionate about helping patients feel at ease while providing high-quality preventive care. Committed to lifelong learning, she continually seeks opportunities to grow her skills. Outside the office, she enjoys visiting new places, reading, and spending time with family. 
BriannaRegistered Dental HygienistBrianna is an experienced and enthusiastic dental hygienist from Oregon, with 8 years in the dental field, including 3 years specializing in dental hygiene. She earned her Bachelor's in Dental Hygiene through Oregon Institute of Technology located in Klamath Falls Oregon. She is dedicated to improving her patients' oral health and delivering high-quality care. Outside of work, Brianna loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s hunting, fishing or hiking. She also loves to spend quality time and making memories with her family. 
JasminePatient Care CoordinatorJasmine has been working in the dental field since 2013. As both a dental assistant and front office coordinator, she is dedicated to providing patients with exceptional care and ensuring a welcoming, positive experience from the moment they arrive. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and taking family vacations whenever possible. |
